Visited for lunch with 2 family members. We had fish and chips, pie and chips and a steak ciabatta. The meals are on the more expensive side, but the portion sizes are nice and the food was in the main good quality. Service was also friendly and efficient. The steak ciabatta was ordered medium, and it came as ordered, but unfortunately the steak was tough. I think probably rump steak isn't the best cut for this meal. The other 2 meals were very tasty.

Such an amazing place! The best beer garden with such a nice atmosphere. Had a Sunday roast last week which was very good. Pizza shed in the back serving pizzas/ dough balls which look and smell fab. Ice creams at the cowshed are unreal (the queue is quite big on a weekend) and live music on the weekends through the summer is such a nice addition

We were the photographers at Matt & Heather's wedding on 8th August. This is an excellent venue with an outdoor bar, fabulous food, outdoor marquee, hay bales, archway, and river, ideal for photo opportunities shown by RJL Wedding Photographers. Let these guys at The King William Inn at Scaftworth be your choice..

Excellent staff, very accommodating throughout our booking as we were a large table. Food was great and arrived quickly once seated (we pre-ordered), drinks were good and the staff frequently asked if we needed anything. We enjoyed ice cream after and we were able to enjoy the outside area after where there was a live singer who was great.

Having come as a recommendation and seeing the good reviews we decided to give it a go and was so happy. The staff were very friendly (especially Sarah) who was very chatty and welcoming. There was plenty of choice and we got meals from different sections of the menu as well as the specials board and it was all great. The Steak & Ale pie was especially amazing!! We didn't have starters so we could try the desserts and they were also all so good!! We will definitely go back again and even though it's a bit more expensive, it is definitely worth it!! Can't wait to try it in summer as well with the live music and beer garden. Thank you all so much. Have been for a second visit with friends to introduce them. Service was a bit slow but it was a beautiful day and all the tables were full. The food was amazing again and we even tried the ice cream parlour next door which was so nice. Spent an hour in the beer garden which was large and I would say it's alright. Tables and chairs were all solid and better than some basic ones. Still 5 stars from me!!

The King William Inn is a lovely pub with lovely staff members, especially Lila, she truly made my visit special. Her friendly attitude and genuine care to make sure I was comfortable created a welcoming and positive atmosphere. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, and her excellent service/enthusiasm for the job really stood out. She is an asset to the team and I'll definitely be back, thanks to Lila!
